Most small employers do not need advice. They need the paperwork to be right on the day it is due, and they need to know what is in the account in six weeks.
Associate Payroll Services was set up because the same three things went wrong for every business that walked in: payroll was calculated but never filed, the books were four months behind, and nobody could say what the account would look like in March. None of those are hard problems. They are calendar problems, and a calendar is something you can hand to somebody else.
The practice is capped on purpose. Thirty or so businesses is what one person can genuinely close by the tenth, and past that the tenth quietly turns into the fifteenth for everybody. When we are full we say so and point you at somebody else, which has happened twice so far and is a far shorter conversation than the one in March would have been.
A payroll run that produces the right numbers and never reaches the IRS or the Department of Revenue is worth nothing. Every run we do ends with a filing confirmation, and you are copied on it the same day.

Books are closed by the tenth of the following month. Not usually, not when things are quiet. If we are going to miss it you hear from us before the tenth, not after.

An annual budget tells you almost nothing about whether Friday is going to be difficult. A rolling thirteen week forecast does, and it fits on one page.
Planning and forecasting
You are not routed. The same person runs your payroll, closes your books and answers the phone on 347-517-5512, and if that person is away you are told who is covering before it happens.
If you leave, you leave with the ledger, the filings, the payroll registers and the forecast workbook, in files that open without us. We have never charged for that and we are not going to start.
Everything below is a published figure, not a starting point for a negotiation. Two businesses of the same size pay the same. Where a number depends on how many people you employ or how many transactions you put through, the rate per unit is printed rather than hidden inside a band.
A transaction is one line on a bank or card statement. We count them from your last three months before quoting, so the number you are given is your number and not an average.
There is no setup charge for taking over from another provider. The first month costs exactly what the twelfth costs, which matters more than it sounds, because the first month is the one where we find whatever was left half finished and quietly put it right.
